Product designer based in Sydney, Australia.

Product designer based in Sydney, Australia.

  • I'm passionate about solving complex problems with pragmatic solutions. That just means I love learning about the business, technical and user constraints of a challenge, and working with others to figure out what we can solve today, and what we should account for as the product evolves.

  • I currently work as a Senior UX designer @ WiseTech Global, (think the Microsoft suite of logistics). My current focus is transforming existing/legacy warehousing & facility management modules to fulfil the needs of operators today.

    • I also dabble with our design system team, defining component use cases and definitions, as well as co-lead design ops to create assets that help the team advocate design as a practice.

  • Before that, I was a product designer @ Mark43, evolving their existing American-orientated record management system into a new evidence management system for our Australian context.

  • A bit further back, I was a product designer @ ServiceNSW, designing their online verification process, so Sydney-siders didn't have to visit a Service Centre physically to check they are who they say they are.

  • In a different life, I was neck-deep in not-for-profit. Half of my life was rebuilding a volunteer program, the other half was coordinating global micro-volunteering events (that one has since disbanded though…).

  • I also occasionally co-run Into Design Systems in Australia; helping share design system stories, challenges and insights from tech leads across Sydney (more to come soon).

  • Non-work-wise, I enjoy travelling to eat food, make-believing in dungeons & dragons, falling on my face playing volleyball and drinking too much coffee (more than happy to talk about these hobbies).

Simplifying the container repair process.

Simplifying the container repair process.

I led the design efforts to make assessing, quoting, approving and working on the maintenance of containers easier. This project not only uplifted existing processes from a legacy system, but helped shape what mobile means for WiseTech's design system.

A new team created specifically for our client, I was asked to design new features to accomodate for how local law enforcement processed evidence and ensured the process' integrity for court.

To help digitise the credential renewal process for working with children, I designed and tested the new 'face verification' process to remove the need to check in-person that you are in fact… you!
